Renuka Aradhya success story

Renuka Aradhya

This is the story of a man who, through his hard work and perseverance, became a millionaire from a beggar.  Wherever he used to go begging from house to house, today not only the turnover of his company is 30 crores but because of his company, the stove is also burnt in 150 other houses.

We are talking about Renuka Aradhya, who is now 50 years old.

His life started from Gopasandra village in Anekal taluk near Bengaluru.  His father was a priest of a small local temple, who used to earn money for his family's livelihood.

Their house could not run due to charity money, so they would go to nearby villages and ask for food grains in alms.  Then by selling the same grain in the market, you would take care of your family with whatever money you received.

Renuka also used to help her father in asking for alms.  But the situation of the family deteriorated to the extent that after being a priest after sixth grade, even after doing pooja daily, he had to go to many houses and work as a servant.

Soon his father put him in an ashram in Chikpet, where he had to study Vedas and Sanskrit and had only two meals - one at 8 am and one at 8 pm.  Due to this, they would remain hungry and unable to concentrate on studies.

To fill his stomach, he wanted to go to worship, marriage and ceremonies, for which he had to do the personal work of his seniors.  As a result, he failed the Class X examination.

Then, with his father's death and his elder brother leaving the house, the responsibility of his mother and sister fell on his shoulders.  But he showed that even in the time of trouble, he does not turn away from his responsibilities.  And with this they set out on a very long battle to earn a livelihood.

In which he had to face many troubles, struggled with his disappointments and had to be beaten up.  Not knowing how to work this way, as a laborer in a plastic making factory and Shyam Sundar Trading Company, as a security guard for just Rs 600, for just Rs 15 per tree  As a gardener climbing the coconut tree.

But his desire to do something better never left him and so he also thought of doing something himself many times.  Once he went door-to-door to stitch the covers of bags and suitcases, in which he incurred a loss of Rs. 30,000.

His life took a turn when he decided to leave everything and become a driver.  But he did not even have the money to learn driver, so he borrowed some and got a driving license by pledging his wedding ring.

After this he felt that everything would be alright now, but luck gave him another shock when he was forced to wash his hands from his first driver's job in a few hours due to a push in the car.  But a gentle taxi operator gave him a chance and in return Renuka started driving for him without any money, so that he could prove himself.  They worked all day and woke up overnight and practiced driving the car.  They decided that,

"Whatever happens, I will not be back as security guard this time and will be a good driver"

He always took care of his passengers, which increased people's trust in him and his demand as a driver kept increasing.  Apart from the passengers, they used to transport corpses from the hospital to their homes.  They say

"I have learned a great lesson from taking the corpses to the house and immediately after taking the pilgrimage to the pilgrims, that life and death are only two ends of a very long journey and if you want to succeed in life, then any chance you know  Do not give "

First he worked in a travel company for 4 years, after that he left the travel company and went to another travel company, where he got the opportunity to travel to foreign travelers.  They used to get tip in dollars from foreign travelers.

He earned a tip for 4 consecutive years and with the help of his wife's PF, he, along with some others, opened a company called 'City Safari'.

He went on to become a manager in this company.  If someone else had been in his place, he would probably have been satisfied on this much, but he was determined to test his limits.

So he took an 'Indica' car on loan, after which one and a half years he took another car.  With the help of these cars, he worked in Spot City Taxi for 2 years.  But they thought

"Now my destination is far away and I need to set up my own travel / transport company"

It is said that neither luck also supports the courageous people.  Something similar happened with Renuka when she came to know that a company called 'Indian City Taxi' was on sale.

In 2006, he bought the company for 6,50,000 rupees, for which he had to sell all his cars.  In his words,

"I took the biggest risk of my life, but the same risk brought me from where today"

He changed the name of his company to 'Overseas Cabs'.  After that he succeeded and kept moving forward.  First of all, Amazon India selected Renuka's company for promotion.

After that Renuka devoted her life to advancing her company.  Gradually many more of his well-known customers became customers, such as Walmart, Akamai, General Motors, etc.  After this he never looked back and his steps towards success continued.

But he never stopped learning.  His company became so strong that while many more taxi companies shut down with the arrival of 'Ola' and 'Uber', his company is still moving towards success.  Today his company operates more than 1000 cars.

Today he is the director of three startups and in three years he is expected to touch 100 million figures, after which he will move towards IPO.  Who could have thought that a boy who went from door to door in his childhood, who had failed in class 10 and who did not have a single rupee of his own, is the owner of a 30 crore company today.
